Example of Behaviorism by John B. Watson
ReplyDelete- You have a dream if you want to achieve it you find a way in order to pursue it whatever struggle or hindrance of it.If your dream is to become a singer so, in order to pursue it you must have a daily practice or any strategies you want in order to achieve it.

Based on the video I saw, I've observed that the child has no reaction at first when he saw the rat but when it was presented together with a sound then the child reacted. And the fear arises when it was presented again and again.Same thing with human, there's a feeling arises when an unpleasant things presented. So in teaching we must be careful enough in presenting different negative reinforcement that may lead to traumatic experience for the students.

i learn at this video or theory that At first when the child saw the animal he/she ignored it but after the man put it again and he adding a sound effect that can scared the child. at the next time when the man put the animals in front of the baby and with sound effect the child scared and cry at that time if he saw the animal again and there is no sound effect but still the child scared to the animal.
ReplyDeleteThis theory we must to enrich to accomplish in a variety of behavior establish the interest to make possible so that they remain recognized the factor to conveyed the preference of others.Which deliberate the competition in which they inherent the good satisfaction of their lives.

ReplyDelete- She has a big house but for her is not enough because she a have dream a nice, expensive house rather than her classic house which a big but is not presentable one. Then, she went to abroad to work in order to build a new one which she dream that kind of house.

ReplyDelete- For me as what i have seen about the theory of Watson it is not easy because we seen that Watson is the first behaviorist to apply stimulus-response theories of learning to the study of child development. So it's amazing for me that Watson can do that kind of theories.

ReplyDelete- When i was still young, i'm not afraid in the dark. Even if i'm alone, i can manage it on my own. But friends told me about ghosts and horror story and they said most of them appeared in the dark. So every time i'm in my room it's dark i felt afraid because of what they said.
While watching the video i saw the reaction of the baby he did not afraid for any kind of the animals in front of him instead when the sounds effect came the baby began to cry with any animals in his front...We can apply also this theory in our daily lives..
ReplyDeleteWe can really learned from this video. that its not the matter of genes and hereditary we adopt now, but it matter how we nurture our self and work hard to become what ever we wants.

Behaviorism is a learning theory that only focuses on objectively observable behaviors and discounts any independent activities of the mind. Behavior theorists define learning as nothing more than the acquisition of new behavior based on environmental conditions.
ReplyDeleteThis theory is relatively simple to understand because it relies only on observable behavior and describes several universal laws of behavior. Its positive and negative reinforcement techniques can be very effective– such as in treatments for human disorders including autism, anxiety disorders and antisocial behavior. Behaviorism is often used by teachers who reward or punish student behaviors.
I do believe in what he says that we can be whatever we want to be.

This tabularasa ..or this theory of behaviorism is also likely the same with raising your own child if who will be that you really want for his future.
ReplyDelete"You can be whoever you want to be , as long as you will work for it". this line of watson really coonotes the real meaning of determination and hardship in working for something. This theory, we can also analyze in our present disignation.
Thanks for the video guysss..

When I watch the video which is "theory of behaviorism", I learn that Dr. John Watson wants us to know that nurture is greater than nature. You can succeed if you have a determination to achieve all the things that you want to achieve. Even you are not born to be intelligent but if you have a fruitful and good experience in your community or in the place where you belong, learning is possible.

Watching the movie regarding the theory of John Watson,I too believe in his theory.Believing in the sense that there is a great evidence to prove that it is nurture not the nature who does affect more in the learning of the student.

An incredible video!. Little Albert was experimented. Now it's great controversial in fact human is not good to be experimented . Like little Albert, he became aggressive every time he saw animals.

nice video ,John Watson theory emphasizes that everything can be learn in this world and environment is more influence rather than genetic.I really agree w/ his statement. God Bless guys
ReplyDeleteThis theory of John Watson has a great impact to me , because it is stated there according to Watson that we can be what we want as long as we work for it, and so, it doesn't matter if you are a brilliant or a dull student, if you have really the eagerness to pursue your dreams , then surely tou can attain it.In addition, Watson is also right about the nurture concept, or the environmental factor that affect one's behavior, because even if how holy you are or how near you are to God, if you are sorrounded with "evils" surely you will be influenced, furthermore, if you are from a less fortunate family but then you are adopted by a rich family, surely you will be molded into a better and competent person.

After watching this video I really understand that the environment is more influential.

While watching that video I observe that at first the baby was not afraid but when they added a sound the baby start to be afraid on that things. Then Watson believe that everything in this world, can be learned if we want too.
